I thought this should surely take care of the powerd and bluetoothd assertions. I'm worried: it's wasting power for nothing.īefore walking away for the day, I press the TouchID button to lock the screen, which puts the monitor (HP E22 G4) to sleep after a couple of seconds, and I turn off both, the Magic Keyboard and the Magic Trackpad to conserve battery. The same iStat shows the Mac Mini doesn't go to sleep at all. I have a company-provided M1 MBP and iStatMenus shows it does go to sleep, waking up about 5-6 times every hour (screenshot attached). I purchased it about a month ago and I've noticed it doesn't go to sleep at all. This is my first one, which I got to replace a faulty Early-2011 MBP. I'm new to the Mac Mini and Apple desktops in general.
